With over a decade of institutional knowledge, Rutgers Autonomous designs, builds, and flies autonomous air and ground systems with a focus on mission performance and reliability. We bring together students from all backgrounds to engineer competitive platforms, push our capabilities through international competitions, and expand through practical outreach that fosters the next generation of engineers at Rutgers and beyond.

We design for full lifecycle use and beyond. Our aircraft, components, and equipment are reused across builds and recycled when possible.
Designed, manufactured, and integrated entirely by Rutgers students across engineering, business, and computer science
We prioritize New Jersey and American suppliers to support domestic manufacturing, reduce lead times, and strengthen regional industry.
Members gain real aerospace, manufacturing, and operations experience before entering industry.
In-house fabrication lets us test and iterate quickly — serving as real-world testbeds for autonomy, sensors, and payload integration.
We support K-12, community college, and university STEM programs through workshops, demos, and hands-on flight activities.
